Best Keywords Tool For SEO

Keywords Are Important, But…

Keywords are important to the overall SEO and searchability of your blog post.  If you focus 100% on your keyword placement, your post and blog site will become awkward to read and can be punished by the Google Algorithms.

I’m going to talk about Best Keywords Tool For SEO but let’s talk about how using your keyword phrase can get you in trouble with the search engines.

How Does Too Much Keyword HURT?

Well, if Google goes to index your site and finds that is keyword heavy…

Google will not index your site. That is a punishment for not having good readable content.

The search engines are looking for content with keywords sprinkled throughout your post that it can use it index your site.  I’m going to also touch on Best Keywords Tool For SEO…

Best Keywords Tool For SEO

There are many amazing tools available in the form of plugins for WordPress Blogs. The focus here is on tools that will tell you what Google likes and how to do it in your articles. I personally use one called Yoast SEO because it is Free and rated well with the WordPress community.

What I like most about Yoast SEO is that I give it my keyword phrase and it tells me based on the content and the length of my blog post. How often my keyword phrase should be in my article and where it should be.

The plugin also tells me how many H3 and H3 header tags I should have with my SEO Keyword Phrase.

The Yoast SEO plugin has been designed to assist the writer based on the most recent Google Algorithm.

The Good and The Bad!

There are good and bad amounts of keyword quantity that you put in your blog posts. Too much and you won’t get indexed…

Along with to little and there is not enough for the search engine to deem as good content to index.

From my experience Yoast SEO is the best keyword tools for seo and WordPress.

Don’t Just Focus On The Keyword In Your Blog Post

The main reason is because every word you write in your articles has the potential to get ranked in the search engine…

Let me explain in detail.

In my writing I put something like, Yoast SEO is the best search engine optimization plugin available on WordPress. You would be crazy not to check it out. It helps you use the right amounts of your keyword phrase in your blog posts.

So, even though Yoast SEO is the best search engine optimization plugin, is not my primary keyword phrase I am focusing on for my article. When the search engines like Google, Bing, and Yahoo go to index my article… They might just pick up on this phrase and see the added value with it and index it.

To the point that if it were to be searched as a long-tail keyword phrase in the search engines it might come up as in the #1 spot for that phrase on page one.

Focus On Your Content

As you, write valuable content you will naturally have some good keywords that will be written in your post. Value based content is the name of the game when looking to get Search Engine Optimization.

When you focus on content, your message and article will be much more readable for the consumer. If your focus is primarily on the keywords, it becomes awkwardly written as you are always trying to fit the phrase into your writing.

Write as you would talk to someone. It makes for smoother writing, reading and transitions.

You brought up a very interesting point, it sounds funny but it makes a lot of sense. I think the bottom line is we want human to read out blog not google, so your post has to make senses without repeating too many keywords just for the sake of getting indexed. The only problem that I have is how to write it smoothly with the right amount of keywords though. What do you think is the right ratio? If I write a 1,000 words post, do you think how many times I should mention my keyword?

Great questions… And honestly I don’t know the answer.  That’s why I use Yoast SEO… It knows the algorithm and tells me how many times the keyword is needed in the article.

      It makes it so easy!!

    • I use Yoast SEO plugin to tell me how well I have inserted my keyword in my article. I would try downloading and installing that into your WordPress blog. It is a free plugin and does an amazing job at letting you know how much you need your keyword in your article for ranking.

I have been stuffing my articles with keywords and I have had a lot of problems with Google but the thing is I was not aware of Yoast keyword tool the one I am using is not the best service. I think my articles are too shorts hence not ranking fast enough but will follow the recommendation you have given me.

You make such a great point in this article. It is important to focus on the reader and not worry so much about the keyword phrases. I try to write conversationally and be as natural as possible. I think people prefer to connect with the author. I try to just write from my heart and as you said, usually the keywords end up being used naturally anyway.

Excellent post Brian. I haven’t heard about Yoast SEO before and as you said it is supported by WordPress, I will definitely be checking it out. My goal is for me to see at least one of my posts in the first page of google. I have been using Jaaxy which is also free but not really sure about any of my pages being indexed in google. Why is it really important to get indexed? Thanks for sharing.

    • admin says:

Indexing is how your page and website gets listed on the search engine.  When someone searches for a keyword phrase… Whoever is ranked/indexed for that keyword is who will show up first on the list of sites for Google.
